Hand us the whole cycle. Timesheets checked against the award, one summary for you to approve, payslips issued, STP filed, payment file ready and super diarised. Your involvement is about ten minutes.

What We Take On

The Whole Cycle, Not the Easy Half

Plenty of providers process the numbers you give them. The value is in the checking that happens before processing, and the compliance that happens after.

Award and rate checking

Each person’s classification, base rate, penalties, loadings and allowances checked against the award or agreement that applies to them, before the run rather than after a complaint.

Timesheet and roster processing

From your rostering app, your timesheets or a weekly summary. Hours checked for the obvious errors: missed breaks, double-entered shifts, a 14-hour Tuesday that was probably a typo.

New starters and terminations

Onboarding details captured, TFN declarations handled, super choice recorded. On termination, final pay including accrued leave calculated correctly and the ETP treatment applied properly.

Leave and entitlements

Annual, personal, long service and parental leave accrued on the correct basis and reconciled, so balances are right when someone asks or resigns.

Payslips and payment file

Compliant payslips issued to every employee, and an ABA or payment batch prepared for you to release from your own banking.

STP filed every run

Single Touch Payroll reported to the ATO on or before payday, every cycle, with the year-end finalisation done on time.

Superannuation scheduled

Calculated on the correct base, accrued visibly in your accounts, and scheduled ahead of the quarterly deadline rather than on it.

Reconciled to the ledger

Wages, PAYG and super control accounts reconciled monthly as part of your bookkeeping, so payroll and the accounts never drift apart.

Your Part

Your Entire Involvement in a Pay Cycle

This is the entire extent of your involvement in a pay cycle once we are set up.

Two days before payday

You get one summary

Each person, hours, gross, net, and anything unusual flagged with a short note explaining why we noticed it.

Same day

You reply “approved”

Or you query a line, and we fix it before anything is processed. That is the whole decision point.

Payday morning

You release the payment

The batch is waiting in your banking. You authorise it. The money never passes through us at any point.

Payday, automatically

Everything else happens

Payslips go out, STP is filed with the ATO, the journals hit your accounts, and the super liability updates.

A small team whose payroll is handled for them

We never hold your money. No trust account, no funds passing through us, no authority over your bank. We prepare, you release. It keeps control where it belongs and removes an entire category of risk for both of us.

Hospitality staff whose rostered hours are checked against the award
When It Pays For Itself

It Is About Complexity, Not Headcount

Twenty salaried staff on identical contracts is a simple payroll. Five casuals on a hospitality award with evening and weekend penalties is not. The second one is where outsourcing earns its fee immediately.

  • Award-covered staff with variable hours. Penalties, overtime and allowances change every cycle, and getting them right by hand is genuinely hard.
  • Apprentices or juniors. Rates step up on anniversaries and birthdays. Nobody remembers, and the underpayment starts quietly on that date.
  • You are the bottleneck. If payroll only happens when you sit down on a Sunday, it will eventually be late, and late payroll damages trust faster than almost anything else.
  • One person knows how it works. If they are on leave or resign, you have a single point of failure attached to a legal obligation.
How We Check Awards
Outsourcing FAQs

Before You Ask

We fix it immediately and at our cost, including an off-cycle payment if someone has been short-paid. Then we tell you what caused it and what we have changed so it cannot recur. Payroll errors are rare when the checking happens before processing, which is precisely why we do it in that order.

That is your call and both arrangements work. Most clients prefer employees use the self-service portal for payslips and leave balances, and route anything else through their manager. If you would rather your team could email us about a payslip query directly, we are happy to be the contact.

Usually not. We work in Xero Payroll, MYOB and QuickBooks Payroll, so whichever you have is almost certainly fine. Where your award complexity is defeating the platform, we will say so and explain the options. Sometimes a rostering app alongside it solves the problem for a fraction of a migration.

One full cycle, usually. We set up in parallel with your existing process, run the first cycle alongside it and compare the two before you rely on ours. Mid-year handovers are completely normal, and we bring across year-to-date figures so STP and the finalisation stay correct.

Legally the employer obligations remain yours. No provider can take those on, and anyone who says otherwise is overselling. What we do is make them straightforward to meet and keep the records that demonstrate you met them. If a query arrives, we assemble everything needed to answer it, and where it becomes a legal matter we will tell you to get employment law advice rather than guess.

Give Back Your Sunday Nights

Tell us your headcount, your cycle and which award covers your team, and we will quote a fixed monthly fee in writing. No hourly billing, no lock-in contract.
